Silicone Hose production For M20 engine !

I'm sorry I'm a little confused about which category to post in since my German really sucks ! So please forgive me for my mistake my friends !

 

I'm here to announce you that during the past months, I have started the production for a complete set of hose for the M20 Engine ( Early model E30 ), The kit will include a complet kit of 7 brand new silicone hoses, Made of High quality silicone, I have send the sample myself to the factory and paid for every mold and test to have the perfect fit for our engines !

 

I will receive the first 15 kits ( 7 hoses each, colours black ) Early December if all goes well !

 

The price should be ranged around 150€ all fees include for the complet kit of 7 hoses !

 

Silicone set will also be available early 2014 for S14 Engine !

Are your hoses something special? As far as I know every hose is purchasable at BMW

The special thing about it is, that it is silicone. Most of the hoses BMW uses for this application are made of AEM or NBR. Silicone ist much more resistable against organic substances (oil, fuel...) and will resist higher temperatures.

 

NBR --> 130°C

AEM --> 160°C

VMQ, FVMQ --> 200 to 250°C depending on compound

 

It is also more expensive than NBR and AEM...

 

@Parera: Sounds interesting though I do not know if its really necessary.

 

Which hoses are included in your set? Can you show some pictures? Does it also fit for the M20B27?

As you said, Mirko, The silicone hose are really resistant, and doesn't have the same look either, It's really wanted parts for those who drifts, do rally , have turbo engine etc.. At least in France !

 

Most of people who buy a new engine, will probably fit their old hoses, and if one hose break, will replace it by another used hose etc.. This solution is only for people who want new hoses, but something more resistant, and cheaper than at BMW

 

Usually it's for high performance engine, But it can be used on a stock engine also, some people also buy it for the look, because there are a lot of color possibilities, Like blue, red, yellow, orange etc.. I chose black for the first order because of discretion and " stock " look that most people prefer ..

 

I'm sorry it won't fit a M20b27

 

Every hose that you can see under your hood are include in the set ( 7 total )

 

Also, the hose are made of 4 layers, as you can see in this picture :

As I can see, the Hose are only for the M20 till 8/87. Will be there some kits in the future for the M20 from 9/87?
