hi chaps, i have decided to stop doing design work now. the main reason is that i spend way too long doing it and although i really enjoy it, with a family and full time job, i end up working often late into the night to get orders processed. if i had more spare time, then there would be no issue. so, what does this mean? no more number plates and dealer designs unless i have them ready to go. the stickers on the website will continue, but i may not order any more stock in, so when it's gone it may be NLA for good! if there is anyone out there who wants to take up the mantle then please let me know, or if anyone has an ebay shop or the like, and wants to supply stickers, then maybe something could be worked out. i have a HUGE amount of work and designs on my laptop and for someone who has a moderate grip of computer design, it is a good business. sorry if this comes as a disappointment to some of you folk, but i need to look out for number 1 now. i have really enjoyed making designs for people and on the whole people have been generous with their comments and pleased with the items. i always did my best to get good quality stuff out and hopefully succeeded most of the time. i am still around though and will be posting useless comments as per normal but please don't request any custom work as i am now officially in my slippers! ok, so i have searched for ages for a L&C keyfob as a finishing touch to my recent project (L&C were a BMW dealer in the UK) like this one below....looking good with the alpina and BMW logos... http://i386.photobucket.com/albums/oo310/bss325i/19012009402-1.jpg ...but there are none around, or the condition is terrible after 20 years of being knocked about on a set of keys. so in true pukar designs style, i got thinking and came up with an idea.... first i designed the decal and ordered it up from the printers, http://i936.photobucket.com/albums/ad205/pukar01/407005dd52f09892cbc1d6f8b9fea7ae.jpg then found a suitable "housing" (thanks ebay!) http://i936.photobucket.com/albums/ad205/pukar01/fb524af2458f43990c1ad01dacb7b57a.jpg et voila! http://i936.photobucket.com/albums/ad205/pukar01/e05077a29eb2b2fed2b019e94d7d4c99.jpg the finished article!! ok, so it's not enamel ( i looked into this and the cost of doing one is about £200 and if you try and get them from china, minimum order is 1000 units!), but i think it's pretty good and close enough for everyday use. the picture doesn't really do it justice. also, it's not too precious to actually use, if i had a brand new L&C one, i guess it would end up in a box in the garage......(along with the other 999 ;) ). i know this is not the most exciting news on the planet, but i am pretty chuffed with it8-)

ah! i have just noticed. the stock i have has the correct "spannungsführenden"...the picture on my website is out of date and an old version the word "connecting" is actually good english, possibly better than "contacting", however i will change my stock for the correct version. thanks again!

how true....life is too short to not change things once in a while i have now taken a deposit on the car. the new owner will collect it on saturday. the petrol flap cleaning must have worked! i was actually supposed to take the car to the BMW car club show in gaydon, UK....the largest meeting of BMW's.....so that it could form part of the display to celebrate 30 years of BMW production. oh well, they will have to rearrange the stand now ;) i will reveal the next car when i buy it (and prepare it)

Ok, so as it was such a nice day, i got round to a task i've been meaning to do for a long time! and now i am selling the car (), i wanted to get it looking as good as new..... the petrol flap area was a bit grotty with leaves, dust and grime....yuk! http://i936.photobucket.com/albums/ad205/pukar01/20130811_134803.jpg http://i936.photobucket.com/albums/ad205/pukar01/20130811_134749.jpg so first things first was to get the flap off and have a good root around with a rag dipped in meths.
