k2chittin Geschrieben: 7. April 2005 #1 Meldung Teilen Geschrieben: 7. April 2005 Hello all Apologies for my lack of German. I know some of you speak better English than my attempts at using an online German translator so I hope someone can help. I have a left hand drive 318is that I bought in Germany and I need to get some LHD specific parts. Can anyone please let me know where I can get parts from an independent place (ie not a BMW dealer)? In England, we have 2 major independent retailers: German Swedish French car parts and Euro Car Parts. Both of these places sell parts which are about 1/2 price compared with the main dealers. I can get most of what I need there but I'm looking for a steering part (steering rack = Zahnstrange?) which must be LHD. Thanks K2 Chittin Zitieren Link zu diesem Kommentar Auf anderen Seiten teilen Weitere Optionen zum teilen...

I keep it as a summer car. It only has around 85000 km on the clock. It's a beauty. K2 Zitieren Link zu diesem Kommentar Auf anderen Seiten teilen Weitere Optionen zum teilen...

Tomorrow I can make some photos, if You are interested. I do not need it anymore, so You might get a bargain Best regardsHannes Zitieren segeln...irgendwas ist immer Link zu diesem Kommentar Auf anderen Seiten teilen Weitere Optionen zum teilen...
k2chittin Geschrieben: 12. April 2005 Autor #7 Meldung Teilen Geschrieben: 12. April 2005 I've been away for a few days so I couldn't log in. All this English bashing is wonderful ... I can also join in since I'm of Burmese origin. I agree about the English stupidity when it comes to using cabrios. You see mad Englishmen on a sunny day in the height of winter with their cabrios open, wearing heavy jackets, windows rolled up and probably heaters at full blast! My "summer" car spends the summers with me in Klagenfurt so I can get proper use of it. Hannes ... I'd be happy to receive photos of your LHD steering gear. I'm not sure what the protocol is - whether you post them to the forum or not. If not, you can reach me at k2_chittin@hotmail.com K2 Zitieren Link zu diesem Kommentar Auf anderen Seiten teilen Weitere Optionen zum teilen...
