Problem mit der Elek-tri(c)k M30B28

i heave E30 TOURING 89r. M20B20 and i rebuild this car and i instal m30b28.

i heave M30B28 (engine 84r) and i cant find anywhere electrical schematiks this two engines (m30b28 and m20b20 in touring).

 

in your site e30.de(good work):)) i find only schematiks for 535i and others:(but no for may engine:((

 

plz help my fast as you can:))

boah, what an "eisenhaufen" *g* why do you install this old engine in your car?

is this a le-jetronic? couldt this help: http://www.firstfives.org/faq/ljet/jetronic.pdf ? got a proof. or possibly buy repair manual books for these cars (e23/24/28) on amazon or ebay.

 

edit: somewhere in my schematics i´ve found this wiring of the l-jetronic (see picture .. no picture? go to "optionen" -> "einstellungen" and enable "grafiken anzeigen" or so..) hope it helps ...

hmm...why?

 

i buy this engine because this is HARTGE M30B28.

this engine is't popular on e30 , early i've m20b27 after tuning like some engine in e30.de but that b27 i finish in 3 months :( M30B28 is more enduring for hard driving.

you will have a rather hard time trying to find anything concerning the installation of a m30b28 in an e30 body.

 

why do you want to install this powerplant anyway? the weight is simillar to the "modern" m30b35 which provides more power and will clearly be consuming less fuel due to the better injection system.

 

if you finished off a m20b27 in 3 months you did a very lousy job tuning it.

possibly y're wright but m30b35 ecu and other parts for this engine is't posible to get in poland!

ebay? an ecu isn´t a hard thing to get. some parts of old cars are ripped of and carried out to poland from the junkyard(s) near my hometown. i´m not far away from the border . some fellow countrymen of you doing this with more or less big trailers

 

other hands .. you can gain friends and pals in germany which carry parts to you. or you buy parts from "kleinanzeigen". shipment is not a problem, isn´t?

 

to your problem: you must compare the colors of wires in the harness from this engine to the colors of the ones of schematic. to proof this, measure out the connections. when the engine harness is be placed (doh!) and connected, the main work is done (theoretically, this is crucial. from main harness, only power, charge Lt. and fuelpump beeing necessary for this time.). only less wires need a connection to the main harness.
