  1. 10. Mai 2020 - 11:15 Hi there, Sorry for writing in English. I am not a german speaker unfortunately. Motor mounts on my 90' e30 318is with m42 is shot due to age and recent accident on "good local roads". I see that options on 318is motor mounts are close to none, except BMW ones for 85 Eur each. I don't feel it as a very objective price for such mass produced 3er, somehow... I have read on old forum topics that people use e36 318is motor mounts or even e28 535. Has anybody had experience with using alternatives? Any engine position drawbacks or more vibrations, or misalignments with driveshaft using alternatives? Thank you in advance! 2. Markus, you were correct. Thank you! The issue was, despite trying to wire in series before, I know it should not be in parallel, I had very low fuel level, so the readings were not correct. Thought maybe the problem lies elsewere. Filled 30l, connected fuel level senders in series, and works brilliantly! I had to save the original wiring, because it was totally fine, so I made extension using factory connector. Attaching pictures, if somebody stumbles to this topic from web search engines. http://lejup.lv/thumbs/5ec00f12e9f74ctgkjar1589645076.JPG http://lejup.lv/thumbs/5ec00f12e9f74xmyldgf1589645074.JPG http://lejup.lv/thumbs/5ec00f12e9f74hevulkz1589645077.JPG
  3. Hi there, Sorry for writing in English. I am not a german speaker unfortunately, but the problem bugs me very hard. Not finding anything useful in eng forums. I have 1990 318is, with installed 63 (2 level sender) fuel tank. And car had speedometer with 55l gauge in it. Previous owners... So to solve the always innacurate fuel level readings, I installed 63l gauge in the speedometer. Fuel level senders are working 100%, tested by removing them and connecting to multimeter ohm reader and reading the ohms positioning sender down and upside. All correct. 60 to 0 ohms. But the problems is - when I connect to a single fuel level sender the fuel level sender 3 pin cable (i have it only on the passenger side) the gauge shows 1/2 (35l) when the fuel tank is almost empty! And the reserve light is on, which is correct. Connecting with self attached longer two wires to drivers side fuel level sender, gauge also shows 1/2 tank. If I connect both fuel level senders to the 3 pin cable on the fuel pump side, the gauge shows 55l while the tank is almost empty! What might be the issue there? I would be very thankful for any german people help, you know the best! Eng to German translation:
